Welcome to Tosscap. In addition to discussion forums, Tosscap also allows every member to write and publish blog posts.
To avoid the removal of your post, please read and follow the guidelines below to understand the publishing process.
1. Click on the “Write a Blog Post” Button
On your dashboard, you should see the “Write a Blog Post” button. Click on it and you will be directed to the writing page.
2. Create a Title For Your Blog Post
Each blog post should be related to the following topics:
- Productivity & Performance
- Mind & Meaning
- Career & Business
- Health & Vitality
- Wealth & Lifestyle
- Love & Relationships
- Leadership & Impact
- Technology & the Future
3. Each Blog Post Should Have At Least 250 Words
The purpose of blogging on Tosscap is to share knowledge or useful information with other members. So we have set a minimum word count for every blog post to make sure your post contains substance and value.
4. Highlight Your Text to Edit
If you want to edit the format of your post, you can easily do this by highlighting the text. The editor will pop up and you can adjust the format of your text, such as adding headings/subheadings, text alignment etc.
5. You Can Upload and Embed Photos
If you want to embed photos in your post, you can do so easily.
When you “enter” on the text editor, you will see a “+” button.
Click on the button and then click on the camera for uploading photos. You can also embed a YouTube video.
6. Choose a Category For Your Post Before Publishing
Before you publish your post, make sure you choose the relevant category for your post.
Click on the “pencil” button on the top right-hand corner and there will be a popup screen.
7. Add Some Relevant Tags For Your Post
To help other members to find your posts more easily, you may also add some relevant tags for your posts.
Click on the “pencil” button on the top right-hand corner and scroll down.
You will see the “Tags” section for adding tags.
8. Upload a Featured Image For Your Post
Each blog post should have a featured image.
Make sure you find a relevant image and attach it to your post.
Click on the “pencil” button on the top right-hand corner and scroll down. You will see the image upload option there.
9. Save and Publish Your Post
Now, you can save and publish your post by clicking on the buttons in the top right-hand corner.
10. Edit and Delete Your Post
If you want to edit your post, just go to your profile and click on the blog tab.
Click on the “edit” button beside the post title.
You can then edit the post.
If you want to delete the post, just click on the pencil button in the top right-hand corner. You will see the red “delete” button.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is product promotion allowed in blog posts?
Yes, we don’t prohibit affiliate links or mentioning your product or service in a blog post. But you must include an affiliate disclaimer in your post.
Also, you have to make sure your blog post has substance and delivers value to members. The content must be self-contained and not ask members to “read more” elsewhere.
If your post is written like a sales page, which has the sole purpose of selling products or services, your post may be removed by us.
2. Can I write product reviews?
Yes, you can write product reviews. But you must include an affiliate disclaimer.
3. Can I publish duplicate content?
No. All blog posts must be original content. Duplicate content will be removed by us. Repeated violation of this rule will lead to suspension of your account.
4. What would happen if I violated the rules?
Repeated violation of the rules might lead to the suspension of your account.
