I take diuretics (one of them being potassium, sparing) and I drink caffeinated drinks. Sometimes I get a little whoozy and I’ve found that taking one of these pills quickly gets me to feeling a bit more functional. I don’t use it every day, only when I realize that I really need it.
Note that the dosage is 3% of the recommended daily adult dose. This is a minute amount and not likely to present a cardiac problem caused by too high a potassium level. On days when I feel a bit dehydrated, I may take two pills. It does more for me than taking pedialyte or gatorade with all that added sugar.
